2011: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger
Well this year has been a rough one... My life has fallen apart, and is in the process of being put together again. I'm getting through it and I'm looking forward to 2012.... I'm going to get back to blogging, I have thought a lot about it over the past 10 months, trying to decide what I want the blog to be about...When I first started it I wanted it to be all crafts, but started incorporating other things like decorating and fashion and stopped doing crafts. So my blog is going to be a little bit of everything: crafts, decorating, fashion, cooking, home remodeling, and my crazy life as a mom. Stay tuned for more in the next couple of days!

What to Wear: Be My Valentine

What to Wear: Plus Size
I know you are thinking what do I know about being plus size. And your right I don't know anything about being plus size, but what I do know is that no matter what your size you should look great and be confident in your own skin. All that matters is that you look great.
So one of the biggest things I have noticed is that the most important thing for ANY woman is to by the right size. I could care less what the number on my clothes say. I go into the dressing room with a range of sizes and pick whatever one looks the best. If you buy clothes to big then it will make you look frumpy, if you buy things to small it will make you look bigger.
The next thing that is important is buying clothes in the right section of the store. If you are built like a twelve year old boy then shopping in the Juniors sections would be fine. If you have some shape shop in the Misses section, and if they make your size in Plus size then you should shop in that section.
I know that a lot of time all of the plus size stuff isn't very cute but stores like Lane Bryant and Old Navy have some cute clothes. They are a little more expensive but I think that it is well worth the price if your clothes fit right.
This outfit this tops came from Old Navy and the pants are Calvin Klein good quality jeans are important. I picked these wedge sandals because wearing a heel will make you look thinner and a wedge has good support and is easy to walk in.
